Booking Agreement Form

Thank you for function enquiry and subsequent booking.
To ensure the smooth running of your function, the following terms and conditions have been established.

Confirmation of bookings

To confirm your booking we require a signed copy of this Function Booking Agreement, within 7 days.
Your booking will only be confirmed once we have received a 20% deposit of the total function cost. We hold tentative bookings for 14 days only, and if we do not receive confirmation and a securing deposit we will need to release the space without further notice.

Payment

The contract signatory is liable to pay all money due under this Agreement. We do not provide credit. All function accounts must be paid in full with Credit Card, Cash or Bank Cheque on the completion of the function.

Guaranteed numbers

The guaranteed number of guests attending your function is required 14 days prior to the event, and will be the number of guests charged for.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation the following terms will apply:

60 days or more: your full deposit will be refunded
30 to 60 days: 50% of your deposit will be refunded
30 days and less: your full deposit will be forfeited

Time Extensions

A labour surcharge of $5 per guest per hour will be payable for any function that continues beyond the agreed time. This covers any increases in our labour costs with additional penalty rates.

Equipment and Linen Hire Charges

Charges apply for all special equipment or additional table linen provided for each function – please discuss costs and needs with restaurant staff.

Menu style and beverage selections

It would be appreciated if your final preferences for menu and beverage packages could be confirmed 14 days prior to your function.

Damage

The organiser is financially responsible for any damage sustained by themselves or any of their guests, invitees or others attending the function to the property of Pod food and the Pialligo Plant Farm during the function.

Cleaning

General and normal cleaning is included in the cost of your function, however additional charges may apply if the function has created cleaning needs above and beyond normal cleaning duties.

Insurance

Pod food will take all responsible care; however will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property prior, during or after the function.

Security

The management reserves the right to exclude or remove any person/s from the premises and surrounding confines without liability should the activities be considered, illegal, excessively noisy or offensive.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

Pod food reserves the right to refuse the service of alcohol to any guests it considers to be under age or intoxicated, or behaving in an offensive manner.

Room allocation

Pod food reserves the right to reassign your function to another room or area within its confines to ensure that all seasonal and climactic considerations are met.
